SPECIFIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

SPECIFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR RECOGNATION OF PRIOR LEARNING (PHD)

The rules about the transfer from an other university to Graduate Schools of Erciyes University are specified in the in the section 3 of the document called "Regulations of Erciyes University about the Graduate Education and Examination Rules".

ACCESS TO FURTHER STUDIES (PHD)

The graduates from PhD Program of Industrial Design Engineering Department can attend the Post-doc programs in other universities.

QUANTIFICATION AND CONSIDERATION (PHD)

In order to be considered as a dersten in the Doctoral of Industrial Design Engineering program, the students who are registered to the program must get at least CC success grades.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS (PHD)
PhD program students accepted with a master's degree must successfully complete not less than 8 lessons, least 60 maximum 90 ECTS course credit at course term, least 120 ECTS thesis work and at least one seminar. Students accepted with Bachelor's degree must succesfully complete not less than 15 lessons, least 120 ECTS course credit, at least 120 ECTS thesis work and at least 2 seminar in the envisaged period.Graduation requirements are specified in the in the section 8 of the document called "Regulations of Erciyes University about the Graduate Education and Examination Rules".

Sectors where Industrial Design Engineers can be employed: Automotive and Automotive Supply Industry, Aeroplane and Ship Manufacturing Industry, Furniture Industry, Textile and Fashion Industry, Machine Manufacture and Mould Industry, Glass, Ceramic and Refractory Industry, Defense Industry, Welding Material Manufacture Industry, Casting Industry, Biomedical and Medical Material Producing Industry, Public Transportation Vehicle Manufacture Industry, Plastics Technology, Quality Control and Inspection Companies. Prospective Engineer Graduates from this department shall be employed in all kinds of sectors, research institutions, defense industry, aeronautics, aerospace, medicine and biomedical sectors in which industrial manufacture is basically conducted and industrial products are developed.
