ACCEPTANCE AND REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
High school graduates with qualification scores from the University Entrance Examinations held by the Grading and Placement Center of Turkey (OSYM) or the international examinations accepted by the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YOK) are assigned by the OSYM that takes into consideration students’ scores and preferences for the programme and universities. Those who are qualified to register to University must complete his/her registration procedures in the period announced by the university with the required documents.
Successful students who graduated from Vocational Higher Schools of Industrial Design Engineering Department are also taken with DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) which is made by OSYM.
SPECIFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR RECOGNATION OF PRIOR LEARN
Transfer rules within the Erciyes University or between universities are set and monitored by the University Senate according to the regulation named “Regulation on the Transfers between Undergraduate and/or Vocational Programs of Higher Education Institutes, Double Majors, Minor, and credits transfers between the Institutes” published on 24.04.2010 in Official Newspaper number of 27561. Students can take exemption exam(s) or consideration at the beginning of their academic semester related to their previous educational programs. The students who are considered to be comprehensive for these courses or the students who succeeded the relevant exams can be exempt from the courses offered in the first four semesters.
ACCESS TO FURTHER STUDIES
The Bachelor’s degree graduates of the Industrial Design Engineering Department are accepted to graduate programs according to their Academic Graduate Program Exam (ALES) and English Level Exam (TOEFL, YDS, UDS, etc.) score.
QUANTIFICATION AND CONSIDERATION
In the Industrial Design Engineering program different evaluation methods such as homework, exercise, project application are applied according to the course quality and necessity, especially midterm exam and final exam. Examinations may be in the form of a classical or multiple choice exam. Homework and project evaluations can be evaluated by written or oral exam. A course grade is determined by the evaluation of the above elements and is given in letters. The letter grades and the coefficient of each grade are given below.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
The graduation requirements of Biomedical Engineering Department is getting successful from the all courses of totally 240 ECTS (including summer internships and graduation project) with a minimum 2.00 of overall grade point average.

Sectors where Industrial Design Engineers can be employed: Automotive and Automotive Supply Industry, Aeroplane and Ship Manufacturing Industry, Furniture Industry, Textile and Fashion Industry, Machine Manufacture and Mould Industry, Glass, Ceramic and Refractory Industry, Defense Industry, Welding Material Manufacture Industry, Casting Industry, Biomedical and Medical Material Producing Industry, Public Transportation Vehicle Manufacture Industry, Plastics Technology, Quality Control and Inspection Companies. Prospective Engineer Graduates from this department shall be employed in all kinds of sectors, research institutions, defense industry, aeronautics, aerospace, medicine and biomedical sectors in which industrial manufacture is basically conducted and industrial products are developed.
